Signature SYSTRA 08 France The Grand Paris Express is advancing with SYSTRA Following the Systems Project Management Assistance that it provided for lines 15, 16 and 17, and the Technical Project Management Assistance for line 15 (East and West), SYSTRA France won a new ten-year contract: operation and maintenance project owner support for the whole network. The Group also won three new contracts in 2022 for line 18, as well as the BIM Booster prize awarded by the Société du Grand Paris in the Innovation category – particularly for the rollout of Carbontracker, our solution to manage the carbon footprint of our projects. Europe Rail Baltica, the Baltic countries railway link In early 2022, a consortium made up of SYSTRA, Italferr and Egis won a major engineering contract for the project to build a high-speed line linking up the three Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) with 870 kilometres of railway line, and Tallinn at the Lithuanian-Polish border. This consortium will work on preparing, supplying and supervising deployment of command-control and signalling subsystems. Mauritius A giant bridge that withstands the winds Construction began on the A1-M1 link road extradosed bridge, which will ultimately be a benchmark in motorway infrastructure. Spanning a natural gorge, it will extend over 330 metres with a span of 130 metres, supported by 100-metre tall pylons. A future icon of the Mauritian landscape that has been designed to withstand the cyclones which regularly buffet the island. United Kingdom The HS2 network is starting to take shape SYSTRA and Mott MacDonald have again been retained for the detailed design phases of lots N1 and N2, the largest contract in the Group’s history. This segment covers 90 kilometres of the line to the north of Birmingham and no fewer than 200 infrastructure items that need to be modelled. This will require both technical and environmental prowess – the project will need to be exemplary in the way in which it integrates into the landscape.
