We are seeking applications for the position of Document Controller for RLDA-CSMT Project at Mumbai.
Missions/Main Duties
- Document Management: Receive, register, distribute, and file all incoming and outgoing project documentation (drawings, reports, correspondences, etc.) as per PMS protocols.
- Document Control System: Maintain document control systems (electronic and hard copy) ensuring proper tracking, archiving, and retrieval.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all documents are controlled per company and client requirements and comply with project quality standards.
- Revision Control: Track document versions, amendments, and approvals ensuring obsolete documents are removed from circulation.
- Coordination: Liaise with project engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients for documentation flow, status updates, and timely deliveries.
- Reporting: Generate document status reports, outstanding lists, and other documentation metrics as required by the PMS team or project management.
- Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive and confidential documents and correspondences.
- Audit Support: Assist in audits and provide all necessary documentation and evidence as required by auditors or management.
- Training: Provide training or guidance on document handling processes to project members, if required.
Profile/Skills
- Civil Engineer / Bsc/ B Com with 5 years of experinece on Document Management.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, PDF Tools) and PMIS
- Familiarity with project documentation and filing systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Methodical and systematic approach
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter
