We are seeking applications for the position of Chief Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer for PMC Service for Property Development & Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region.
Missions/Main Duties
Quality Management System
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO standards and client requirements.
- Establish procedures for inspection, testing, and documentation of all construction activities.
- Lead regular internal and external quality audits and assessments.
Quality Control (QC)
- Oversee material inspections, sampling, and testing at all stages of construction.
- Review and approve contractors’ Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
- Supervise and verify site inspections, monitoring construction activities for compliance with specifications and standards.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Monitor effectiveness of quality control procedures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure implementation of quality requirements during design, construction, and commissioning.
- Review and approve quality documentation including test reports, calibration certificates, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the site QA/QC team, providing technical guidance and training where necessary.
- Facilitate communication between the project management, construction, and quality teams.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate quality records and documentation.
- Prepare periodic quality reports, dashboards, and status updates for senior management and the client.
- Ensure proper closure and verification of all quality-related issues and NCRs.
Stakeholder Management
- Interface with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities on all matters related to quality.
- Participate in quality-related meetings, reviews, and risk assessments.
Profile/Skills
- Master’s degree in civil engineering / construction management.
- Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
- More than 15 years of experience.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
