Context
SYSTRA Denmark is a key player for the Danish and Nordic railway. Specifically, we serve as client advisors to DSB on the Fremtidens S-Bane Program transforming the greater Copenhagen Rail Network from a traditional urban railway to a fully automated driverless GoA4 transport system.
We are looking in this context for a rail operation expert to strengthen our international team.
Missions/Main Duties
As a client advisor, you will have a broad and challenging role, acting as the client’s sparring partner and ensuring that projects are carried out at the desired levels of quality, time, and budget. Your main tasks will include:
- Defining operator’s role and responsibilities for the UTO transit system
- Developing the operating rules and procedures for the UTO system including transition to full UTO Operation
- Keep the operations concept up to date for the entire lifecycle of the client program
- Support the development of the shadow operator role, building up to the Trial Run phase of the client program
Profile/Skills
- Experienced in UTO system operation gained on several projects
- Strong skills in capturing processes and translating them into clear, structured documentation
- Experienced in defining concept of operation, rules and procedures, ideally for a system under migration
- Good understanding of UTO systems and their interfaces (CBTC, Telecom, Rolling Stock…)
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Have an engineering or technical background, preferably supplemented by relevant experience
- Thrive in both technical analyses and dialogue with many different stakeholders
- Eager to further develop yourself, both as a specialist and as a sparring partner for colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
