Context
Under the Systems and Interfaces Director and the Interface Management Lead, the duty of the Interface Engineer is mainly analysing, studying, monitoring, evaluating, tracking, and supervising the Works related to interface matters (Internal & External Interfaces).
Missions/Main Duties
Work Process
- Contribute to Interface (internal and external) management matters including reporting from Designated Contractors in accordance with the application of the Interface Management procedure,
- Manage, Support, Administrate and Control the Interface Lifecycle process from start to end, through technical identification, definition, resolution and verification / testing lifecycle,
- Facilitate the adjudication on any contentious Interface issues, whatever during identification, definition, resolution or verification of interfaces (Internal & External Interfaces),
- Initiate and update the Interface register and Interface Matrix (including all necessary lists or documents to track and record interface management steps),
- Attend to any meeting or workshop or others related to interface matters (especially external interfaces),
- Ensure that the progress status of the interfaces is not behind schedule,
- Make progress reports related to the interface activity,
- Contribute to the detection and evaluation of potential interface risk.
- Report any matters, findings, improvement or others
