Context
As we are continuing to grow across the UK and Ireland we are looking for an additional Internal Recruiter to support our portfolio of Infrastructure projects, covering a variety of business lines as well as projects and locations. The Internal Recruiter is responsible for delivering high-quality, direct sourcing recruitment services, utilising proactive search methods to identify and attract top talent while supporting business partnering activities as required, the primary focus of this role is on hands-on recruitment delivery, including staffing for business as usual, new project awards, bids, and strategic hires.
12 month Fixed Term Contract - circa £35,000 - £40,000
Missions/Main Duties
- Deliver identified parts of the recruitment plan for the UK and Ireland business, ensuring sustainable and measurable results in cost, time and quality of new hires
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a designated areas of the business
- Direct Source high quality profiles to meet the growth needs of the business
- Champion the most effective recruitment processes across the business
- Build a strong talent pool of engaged candidates in core talent pipelines
- Act as a brand ambassador and support brand awareness to assist in attracting key talent
- Deliver volume recruitment such as Early Careers
- Oversee the onboarding process of new hires up to employment start date
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience, approaching candidates and managing throughout the interview and onboarding process.
- Manage jobs and applications through the companies ATS
- Provide in depth reporting on recruitment activities to drive improvements
- Support on key recruitment projects and initiatives such as Embedding of EVP, assessment and selection methodology etc.
Profile/Skills
- Demonstrable Recruitment experience operating in a direct sourcing model either from an agency or in-house background
- Ideally have experience within the Engineering sector, throughout Transportation or Civil Engineering
- Experience of effectively working with Hiring Managers and colleagues to directly fill critical roles
- Expertise in utilising both ATS and LinkedIn to directly source candidates across the UK and Ireland
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and influence senior leaders
- Track record of successful and innovative direct sourcing strategies
