Urban Mobility Innovation: massive double-tube highway tunnel in Istanbul

The project connects Kilyos and Sarıyer districts with 7,75 km long alignment that has 1,75 km of connection roads. It includes 7 km long double tube tunnel.

  • Second Largest TBM Tunnel in Türkiye with an excavation diameter of 13,75 m.
  • Cavern tunnels that will be used to assembly TBM with 665 m2 of tunnel face and 75 m long.
  • 13 bypasses, 4 cut&cover structures, 500 m long adit tunnel.
