Passenger and freight transportation in Urfa

This project involved the complete design process—preliminary, final, and as-built—for the 63 km dual line railway between Mürşitpınar and Şanlıurfa, including three stations. Services included alternative corridor studies and feasibility reports, cost calculations, watershed and drainage planning, detailed terrestrial and geological mapping, and preparation of route profiles.

The project delivered application designs for a 160 km/h dual line railway, 13 railway tunnels (8,985 m total), 4 cut-and-cover tunnels (875 m), 2 viaducts (1,471 m), 8 underpasses, 28 overpasses, 85 hydraulic culverts, and 55 road deviations (35 km). Additional scope covered designs for water channel crossings, expropriation plans, EIA report preparation, and three major station buildings, as well as all related tender documentation and bill of quantities.
