Framework agreements for Metroselskabet

In collaboration with Globeteam, SYSTRA has entered into an 8-year framework agreement on IT and digitalisation with Metroselskabet and Hovedstadens Letbane. This agreement, valued up to 125 million DKK complements our two major framework agreements related to transport systems, railway technology and civil works.

Two framework agreements on transport systems, railway technology, and civil works

The metro has surpassed 1 billion journeys and is continuously evolving. Through two major 8-year framework agreements on transport systems, railway technology, and civil works, SYSTRA contributes to its development as the lead consultant for Metroselskabet and Hovedstadens Letbane.

The framework agreements cover many potential disciplines and were divided in the tender into 18 areas of expertise for transport systems and railway technology, and 13 areas for civil works. The tasks include development, design, and other services for ongoing or upcoming metro and/or light rail projects, as well as maintenance of completed metro and/or light rail projects.

These are framework agreements with ceilings of up to 400 million DKK for civil works and 300 million DKK for transport systems and railway technology. We are already seeing substantial activity on these agreements.

SYSTRA has extensive experience working with Metroselskabet. Primarily, this includes many years as a consultant for the Transport System on the Cityringen, but also on previous similar framework agreements, such as the expansion of the Control Maintenance Centre in Ørestad.

On both agreements, SYSTRA includes PLH Architects in the team, and on the civil works framework agreement, GEO is also involved. Additionally, our international colleagues bring valuable global experience to the team. This allows us, together with Metroselskabet and Hovedstadens Letbane, to leverage our international knowledge and experience when tackling the tasks.
