New Electric Train Depot for DSB in Næstved

The new electric train depot in Næstved has now been handed over to DSB, who are inviting visitors to an open house on August 15th.

Over the past four years, together with MT Højgaard, M.J. Eriksson A/S, Artelia Denmark, Holm & Grut Arkitekter A/S, and Thing Brandt Landskab ApS, we have worked intensively on this ambitious project.

The electric train depot, which is 300 metres long and includes 6,500 metres of stabling tracks, marks an important step in the electrification of Danish railways. With the new depot, DSB now has optimal facilities for the maintenance and servicing of electric trains.

Visit the depot on 15 August 2025

DSB invites you to an open house at the depot on Fladsågårdsvej 2 on August 15th from 11:00 to 17:00, where you can experience the facilities up close.

We congratulate DSB on the new depot and are pleased with the collaboration and the completed result, which supports the green transition of rail operations in Denmark.

The depot has been equipped with 6,500 metres of stabling tracks for the electric trains.
