The Province of British Columbia’s Surrey Langley Skytrain (SLS) Project is a 16-km Advanced Light Rapid Transit (ALRT) elevated extension of the existing SkyTrain Expo Line with 8 new stations, 3 new transit exchanges, and 9 new Propulsion Power Substations (PPS).
It will start from the existing terminus at King George Station in the City of Surrey, and extend through the Township of Langley, to a new terminus within the City of Langley (collectively, the “Three Municipalities”) at Langley City Centre.
The budget for the SLS Project is $5.996 billion, which includes capital costs and active transportation investments.
SYSTRA IBT serves as the Prime Design Consultant, including overall design management and the completion of the structural design scope for the elevated guideway.
