DESIGN-BUILD
The Sky Train Evergreen Line connects the cities of Burnaby, Port Moody and Coquitlam. It originates at the Lougheed Town Center station, part of the existing Millennium Line.
The line includes 6.8 miles of elevated light rail transit guideway. The precast concrete segmental portion of the guideway is 1.9 m (6 ft) long. Typical spans have a maximum length of 39 m (127 ft) and are erected span-by-span with an overhead gantry. Foundations consist of 0.914 m (3 ft) diameter driven steel piles filled with concrete.
