Because of the complexity of the multi-level station, multiple elevators were constructed to connect all levels from the street to the lowest level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA coordinated the design and oversaw the construction of this work that included restoration and preservation of historic landmark elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stations remained open for public use throughout construction.
