**SYSTRA is responsible for rail systems engineering, train control design, and systems integration plan development for this project to establish a light rail system along Van Nuys Boulevard, one of the Valley’s busiest corridors. The light rail system will enhance mobility and growth for the communities it will serve.**

SYSTRA is developing train control specifications, design criteria, contract
drawings, and systems integration plans.

The first project segment is a 6.7-mile at-grade alignment with 11 stations and
a new maintenance and storage facility and will feature several buildings using
solar photovoltaic (PV) power and excess power storage systems.

Service is expected to begin between 2028 and 2030.
