The role involves providing technical leadership across feasibility, detailed design, and construction support for tunnels, shafts, caverns, and related underground works, ensuring safe, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in tunneling and underground structures, excellent project leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients. contractor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Soil and hard rock tunnelling design on land and under the sea<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">2d and 3d modelling of underground space<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Tunnel support design in rock and soil using scan lines and standard software packages<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Rock bolting design using 2D and 3D programmes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Temporary and permanent tunnel portal design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Pipe jacking and utility tunnel design, with thrust block design and settlement assessment for infrastructure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">In situ testing of rock
