They are an investment not just in transport but in town centres, social inclusion and a greener future\u2019, noted the NBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The NBS also encourages authorities and operators \u2018to achieve seamless, integrated local ticketing between operators and across different public transport modes\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ticketing technology, when combined with well-designed fare structures, offers real potential to boost passenger numbers on rural bus routes. By taking emphatic action, local living could become the norm for people and every type of family construct in the UK in the very near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s simple. Stop designing for the car.
