The project will deliver a\u00a0six minute\u00a0journey from station to terminal \u2013 massively cutting the current half hour\u00a0walk\u00a0and avoiding already congested roads.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new modal solution complements the existing network\u00a0and\u00a0provide\u00a0a direct link from rail-to-air transport.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SYSTRA\u00a0was\u00a0recently\u00a0awarded\u00a0the Zel La Montagne cable car project in Saint-Denis, R\u00e9union, and having acted as project manager for the\u00a0T\u00e9l\u00e9o\u00a0cable car in Toulouse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As local authorities\u202flook\u00a0find enhanced and\u00a0sustainable modes of transport, the cable car market\u00a0offers an innovative solution.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cable cars can be used to overcome problems of relief and natural or\u00a0man-made\u00a0barriers (road infrastructure, railway lines, etc.). They\u00a0link up neighbourhoods and\u00a0help\u00a0connect residential\u00a0areas\u00a0or industrial hubs that would otherwise have been more isolated.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
