# SYSTRA joins partners to celebrate landmark graduation of PlanBEE Rail apprentices

The event marked a milestone moment for the scheme and celebrated the
achievements of its inaugural cohort. 

Through the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) East Alliance, SYSTRA in the UK &
Ireland is a proud founding member of the 
[PlanBEE Rail scheme](https://www.systra.com/uk/expert_insights/boosting-stem-talent-development-through-industry-collaboration/)
, which is designed to recruit and nurture the next generation of
multi-disciplinary project managers. 

The two-year programme supports the apprentices as they rotate around four
different employers, gaining experience across different environments. 

The event brought together apprentices, their friends and family, and
representatives from sponsor organisations for a celebratory evening, including
certificate presentations, alongside a poster showcase.

Annabel Snowden, Senior Early Careers Talent Advisor at SYSTRA, said: “It has

across the rail industry work together to nurture future talent – offering broad

celebrate the achievements of the apprentices.” 

The graduation serves as a proud demonstration of our collaborative commitment
to developing the next generation of rail professionals across the industry.
