SYSTRA’s urban planning work is based on an integrated vision of mobility. We assess all relevant issues right from the start of project development, including current and future travel requirements, urban planning, economic and social development, and environmental protection.<\/span><\/p>\n

SYSTRA has completed 17,000+ Square kilometer of Statutory Master Planning and 15+ City Development Plans (CDPs).<\/span><\/p>\n

We are seeking applications for the position of Socio-Economic Expert for Upcoming Urban Planning Project.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n

 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Conduct socio-economic profiling of the project area, including population characteristics, employment patterns, income levels, housing conditions, education, and social infrastructure.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Analyze social and economic development indicators to support planning interventions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Design and implement household surveys, socio-economic surveys, and stakeholder consultations.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop survey methodologies, questionnaires, and sampling framework.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Analyze population trends, growth patterns, migration characteristics, and demographic structures.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Prepare population projections and demographic forecasts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide socio-economic inputs for preparation of Master Plans, Development Plans, Regional Plans, and Urban Development Strategies.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support land use planning, housing assessments, livelihood studies, and infrastructure planning through socio-economic analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n

     <\/p>\n

      \n
    • Minimum <\/strong>10 years of professional experience in socio-economic studies, demographic analysis, and field surveys.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Post Graduate Degree in Statistics, or Sociology, or Economics, or Geography, or Demography.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of socio-economic research methodologies and survey techniques.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Expertise in demographic analysis and population forecasting.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretatio<\/span>n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
