With over 10,300 colleagues globally and around 1000 in the UK &amp; Ireland we are growing significantly and seeking out the very best talent to join the SYSTRA signature team and be part of leading the way in infrastructure design.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Act as a Structural design Engineer on a variety of engineering, transportation and infrastructure design projects. Working within budgets, programmes and quality assurance, as part of a small team, in the delivery of client projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare outline and detailed design for multi or single disciplinary projects as required.<\/li>\n<li>Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Report updates to senior Engineers, technical leads and the project management team on project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Apply procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff and others affected by th be operations of SYSTRA throughout design lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Continue your own professional development with support from SYSTRA in line with your professional body.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate behaviours aligned with SYSTRA&rsquo;s behavioural framework by actively fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, respect, and empowerment, contributing to an environment where all colleagues can thrive, achieve, and grow together<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: 'Lato Black', sans-serif;color: #d22328\">Stakeholder accountabilities <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt\">Interaction with internal disciplines, Project Managers and Engineers for project delivery across engineering and consultancy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt\">Liaising with clients, joint venture partners and external contractors as required, attending client meetings when required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt\">Interface with other disciplines and 3rd parties \/ external Engineers to ensure a multi-disciplinary design is developed, if appropriate to project specifications<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: 'Lato Black', sans-serif;color: #d22328\">Financial &amp; project accountabilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt\">Manage own tasks and activities against budget costs and deliverables.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt\">Understanding of wider project contract and commercial interfaces and implications.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Knowledge of BIM level 2, Revit, ACC, Projectwise.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant to own discipline <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Knowledge of Robot, Etabs, IDEA Statica analysis software beneficial.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Knowledge of design standards for example Eurocodes, British Standards, UK Building Regulations, American codes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Knowledge of Network Rail, UAE and KSA standards beneficial.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015, Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and how they relate to the role of Designer in the built environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Professional registration with either IStructE (preferred) or ICE, having attained or be working towards Ieng.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Ability to develop design deliverables (drawings, reports, specifications) in accordance with appropriate client and project requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;font-family: verdana, geneva\">Prepare and check engineering designs and calculations.
