SYSTRA was engaged by CAG to review and carry out an impact study on the overall adequacy of Airport Boulevard\u2019s road capacity in the near-mid-long term in relation to passenger growth and trend – a Traffic Micro-Simulation Model to assess and identify are as of traffic congestion on the Airport Boulevard and related road network across different intended scenario-years in relation to projected passenger growth forecast.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optional studies are also currently being carried out to extend study area to the sub-terminals\u2019 roadway (Terminal 1 \u2013 4 and Jewel)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SYSTRA undertook a detailed analysis in micro-simulation modelling of the main roadway Airport Boulevard leading in and out of Changi Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traffic Estimates and Forecasting based on projected passenger growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also have Proposed Options to mitigate these traffic issues and evaluated in VISSIM in order to identify the recommended near-term traffic improvement schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
