Tourism had been identified as one of twelve key economic areas to help drive this transformation, particularly cruise tourism.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dusty-blue-color has-text-color\"><strong>The study was to develop a comprehensive, market-orientated strategy for the development of Malaysia\u2019s cruise tourism sector including a thorough analysis of existing service provision, extensive consultation with cruise lines to determine demand and final recommendations on facility development, as well as associated policy, itineraries, marketing and implementation proposals.
