# Structural Engineer (Metro Stations – PMC)

## Context

We are seeking a _Structural Engineer_ to join our
_Project Management Consultant (PMC)_ team for major transportation
infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in
_stations projects_, including _rail, metro, or airport developments_, and will
support the review, coordination, and monitoring of structural design and
execution activities across the project lifecycle.

## Missions/Main Duties

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing
structural engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project
requirements, design standards, safety expectations, and construction
objectives. The role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors,
and multidisciplinary project teams within a PMC environment.

## Key Responsibilities

- Review structural design submissions, calculations, drawings, and technical
  reports for compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Monitor and coordinate structural engineering activities across design,
  construction, and interface stages.
- Support the PMC team in ensuring that structural works are delivered in line
  with project scope, quality standards, schedule, and budget expectations.
- Coordinate with architectural, civil, MEP, and interface teams to resolve
  structural design and site-related issues.
- Review contractor and consultant submissions, shop drawings, method
  statements, and material approvals related to structural works.
- Participate in technical meetings, design review workshops, and coordination
  sessions with project stakeholders.
- Identify structural risks, design conflicts, and constructability concerns,
  and support timely resolution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required to monitor progress, quality,
  and compliance of structural works.
- Support the review of RFIs, NCRs, technical queries, and change requests
  related to structural elements.
- Prepare technical comments, progress updates, and reports for internal and
  client-facing PMC documentation.

## Profile/Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in _Civil Engineering_ with a specialization or strong
  experience in _Structural Engineering_.
- Minimum of _10 years of relevant experience_ in structural engineering.
- Proven experience on _stations projects_, such as
  _rail, metro, or airport developments_.
- Prior experience in a
  _PMC, supervision consultant, or client-side project environment_ is
  preferred.
- Strong understanding of structural design review, construction coordination,
  and site supervision processes.
- Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel structural systems commonly
  used in transportation and station projects.
- Ability to review drawings, calculations, technical submittals, and
  construction methodologies.
- Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across
  multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates with _KSA project experience_ will be _preferred_.
- Familiarity with relevant international codes and regional standards is an
  advantage.
