We are seeking applications for the position of CAD operator – Civil for Mumbai
Coastal Road Project  

 

## Missions/Main Duties

- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using CAD software
  (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Convert survey data, sketches, and field notes into technical drawings
- Revise and update existing drawings as per engineer or architect feedback
- Create site layouts, grading plans, road profiles, utility layouts, and
  cross-sections
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other project team members
- Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings or technical information
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings if required
- Support in the creation of 3D models and visualization for presentations
- Maintain CAD standards and templates
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and presentation quality of all deliverables

## Profile/Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation)
- Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and standards
- Ability to interpret sketches, survey data, and technical specifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Knowledge of drawing file organization and management
- Experience in preparing site layouts, profiles, sections, and utility plans
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving abilities for resolving drawing discrepancies
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Basic understanding of quantity take-offs and material estimation
- Ability to implement and adhere to CAD standards and templates
- Willingness to learn new software or adapt to technology upgrades
- Time management and organizational skills
- Experience in preparing as-built drawings and updating revisions
