• Design ballasted track components such as sleepers and other related structures.<\/span>
• Develop track designs that include noise and vibration control measures.<\/span>
• Design special track structures for yards and depots.<\/span>
• Prepare key design documents like design basis reports and calculation reports, technical specifications etc.<\/span>
• Review technical documents from vendors (e.g., for turnouts, buffer stops, fastening systems) to ensure they meet project standards. Should understand the main technical features of track components.<\/span>
• Understand and manage interface requirements between track and other systems.<\/span>
• Coordination with CAD and BIM team for production of drawings and models and review it as per the project requirement.<\/span>
• Responsible for design coordination works to ensure swift and timely delivery of designs as per contractual timelines<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\nProfile\/Skills<\/h2>\n
• 2 to 5 years of experience in track design (Ballastless and Ballasted track)<\/span>
• Knowledge about track components including fastening system, turnouts and crossovers, buffer stop.<\/span>
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Midas Civil, Adsec.<\/span>
• Detailed knowledge of interface with track structures<\/span>
• Detailed knowledge of design of concrete and steel structures as per Eurocode.<\/span>
• Knowledge of track construction principles and railway standards such as AREMA\/UIC\/EN<\/span>
• Good proficiency in Microsoft word, excel<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/h2>\n
