GCR has been the subject of many mass transit&nbsp;studies. Many of these studies have identified the need for a high capacity commuter railway system to&nbsp;serve the region.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involves transit-oriented development for the North South Commuter Railway extension in the Philippines. It aims to enhance connectivity between the Greater Capital Region and surrounding areas. SYSTRA provides technical support for planning, focusing on master plans and design studies around stations, addressing access and infrastructure challenges to achieve successful commuter services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA has been awarded Station Redesign Subconsultant Works for the North-South Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-EX) Project (Malolos-Clark) (Solis-Calamba) General Consultant \u2013 GCR Consortium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-our-scope\">Our Scope<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The redesign work covers the EDSA, Buendia, Sucat and Sta. Rosa Stations. The redesign of the said stations is intended to improve internal circulation based upon re-calculated and re-simulated passenger flow as well as site access and integration with surrounding conditions and anticipated future infrastructure including transit-oriented development (TOD). It includes the relocation of the Sucat station (north of the existing PNR station) and the Sta.
