This project is being carried out as part of a joint venture led by SYSTRA SA and SOTECNI with Italian firms. With a length of 14.5km, Line 2 will cross Line 1 and serve 23 stations. Like Line 1, it will be fully automated and underground.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The new metro Line 2 is a formidable project for Turin and an opportunity for the city to equip itself with a new public transport service on an urban and territorial scale that crosses it entirely from north to south through the historic centre, opening the city to everyone and creating a vector of a renewed eco-responsible &#8220;governance&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The design was conducted in order to leave the technological choice (linked to the specific supplier) to the following stages of development of the project.
