With over 10,300 colleagues globally and around 1000 in the UK &amp; Ireland we are growing significantly and seeking out the very best talent to join the SYSTRA signature team and be part of leading the way in infrastructure design.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p>Act as Systems Safety Engineer on a variety of engineering, transportation and infrastructure design projects. Working within budgets, programmes and quality assurance, as part of a small team, in the delivery of client projects.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<p><h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Main tasks and responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare outline and detailed design for multi or single disciplinary projects as required.<\/li>\n<li>Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Report updates to senior Engineers, technical leads and the project management team on project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Apply procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff and others affected by th be operations of SYSTRA throughout design lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Continue your own professional development with support from SYSTRA in line with your professional body.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate behaviours aligned with SYSTRA&rsquo;s behavioural framework by actively fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, respect, and empowerment, contributing to an environment where all collegues can thrive, achieve, and grow together<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Stakeholder accountabilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interaction with internal disciplines, Project Managers and Engineers for project delivery across engineering and consultancy.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with clients, joint venture partners and external contractors as required, attending client meetings when required.<\/li>\n<li>Interface with other disciplines and 3rd parties \/ external Engineers to ensure a multi-disciplinary design is developed, if appropriate to project specifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Financial &amp; project accountabilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage own tasks and activities against budget costs and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of wider project contract and commercial interfaces and implications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge and experience within own discipline, with an understanding\/ awareness of the impact of other relevant or interfacing discipline&rsquo;s engineering design and detailing.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of construction principles and standards relevant to own discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working as a design engineer under supervision with responsibilities for deliverables within a work package \/ project.<\/li>\n<li>Production of quality deliverables in line with relevant standards and best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of commercial and contract conditions as they relate to the delivery of budgets\/timescales.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of relevant computer analysis programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Working towards professional registration with a professional body \/ engineering institute i.e. ICE, IET, IMechE.<\/li>\n<li>Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant to own discipline (see accompanying addendum).<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the CSM Regulations and its application&nbsp;during the construction phase of a project&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the&nbsp;Design Risk Assessment process and&nbsp;legal and regulatory requirements within appropriate regulations such as&nbsp;the&nbsp;Construction(Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and the&nbsp;Common Safety Method Regulations 2013&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the Railway Interoperability Regulations and its application during the construction phase of a project&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><h1 style=\"margin: 18pt 0cm 6pt;text-indent: 0cm;line-height: 110%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: 'Lato Black', sans-serif;color: #d22328;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Safety<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"margin: 6pt 0cm 0cm;line-height: 110%;font-size: 10pt;font-family: Lato, sans-serif;color: black\">SYSTRA Ltd and its employees subscribe to the six key safety management principles of:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-top: 4px\">\n<li style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm 3pt 0px;line-height: 110%;font-size: 10pt;font-family: Lato, sans-serif;color: black\">Commitment (Safety is the first consideration in everything we do, if it isn&#8217;t safe, we don&#8217;t do it)<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3pt 0cm 3pt 0px;line-height: 110%;font-size: 10pt;font-family: Lato, sans-serif;color: black\">Leadership (Safety begins at the top &#8211;
