style=\"margin: 0px\">Blue Line Section 2 Lead QAQC Engineer<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Performs quality control inspection duties related to work activities including, but not limited to the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Review submissions from the Contractor and prepare comments <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Receives inspection notification from Contractor and ensures attendance as described in ITP<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Maintains frequent contact with Contractor&rsquo;s quality control staff in performing their duties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Performs observation, surveillance activities on selected Contractor project field activities <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">and field supervision operations <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">including health, safety and environmental controls.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Prepares Site Observation Reports reflecting observations of potential non-compliance and issue QVN if Contractor fails to provide their NCR<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Liaises with Project Construction personnel for any significant quality matters.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\"> Maintains a daily diary and issues daily reports to the Senior QA \/ QC Engineer<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Issues Site Observation Reports (SOR) to Contractor as appropriate <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Monitors progress for close out evidence of NCRs, QVNs and SORs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: black\">Monitors project safety programs, assuring Contractor adherence to its approved safety plans <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Witness and record result of planned inspections (IR) as notified by the Contractor and maintain photographic records <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Witness laboratory sampling and testing <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Witness material inspections (MIR) <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Recognize developing issues related to non-compliant work<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Maintains proactive relationship with Contractor&rsquo;s quality and supervisory staffs to facilitate any necessary corrective action by the Contractor in accordance with authorized procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Experience on industry relevant projects for position, preferably with successive responsibility on large projects transportation or infrastructure projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Accredited college degree in related industry activities (engineering or construction management) or equivalent related experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Certifications of continued industry training and education related to the work such as specifications quality standards related to the heavy construction, rail or transportation industry.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Preferred Internal Auditor skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">English fluency in reading, writing and speech<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 3.0pt 0cm 3.0pt 18.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif\">Proficient experience in key MS Desktop
