Lead HSE Engineer For Section 4 EET Green line project<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n

Description\/responsibilities:<\/div>\n
– Review Contractors HSE Plan, monitor and ensure implementation of the approved HSE plan.<\/div>\n
– Evaluate Contractor’s key HSE personnel and make recommendations to CLIENT for their approval<\/div>\n
– Conduct regular HSE Inspection\/Audits and Safety Observations .<\/div>\n
–<\/div>\n
Interface with Contractors HSE staff, CLIENT HSE department and Plant Operations HSE.<\/div>\n
– Collect Safety Statistics from Contractors and issue Safety Performance Statistics as needed for CLIENT and<\/div>\n
Company reports.<\/div>\n
– Monitor project Safety programme to ensure it supports progress through proactive planning with the Construction Engineer.<\/div>\n
– Encourage Contractors to adopt Company Safety Standards and other industry best practices in HSE.<\/div>\n
– Evaluate the Contractor HSE performance on an ongoing basis. Make recommendations for improvement to the contractors managment as needed.<\/div>\n
– Ensure emergency procedures are established.<\/div>\n
– Conduct accident \/ near miss investigations.<\/div>\n
– Conduct HSE induction \/ orientation for new PMC site personnel. Monitor the Contractors training program.<\/div>\n
– Manage the PMC project training records and Safety files.<\/div>\n
– Audit Contractors Safety files to ensure compliance with<\/div>\n
their Safety requirements.<\/div>\n
– Audit Contractor equipment certifications to ensure they are current.<\/div>\n
– Issue Safety Bulletins as necessary<\/div>\n<\/p>\n

Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with any discipline.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management within the Construction industry is a must. <\/li>\n
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards relevant to the industry.<\/li>\n
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety management systems.<\/li>\n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess HSE challenges and implement effective solutions.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or similar HSE credentials are highly desirable.<\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge about creating HSE documentation and statistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
