The business was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/ireland\/news\/systra-secures-43-5k-for-ai-research-into-road-safety-incidents\/\">awarded TRIG funding in 2024<\/a> to develop a novel AI application that helps improve road safety through increased understanding of road collision data. The funding is a testament to the foundational support the TRIG programme provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill-element has-pale-blue-background-color has-background\" style=\"grid-template-columns:27% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/02\/llewelyn-morgan.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28695 size-full\" style=\"object-position:47% 20%\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>My aim is to help guide innovations, identify their commercial potential, and ultimately see them contribute to a more efficient, sustainable and inclusive transport system for all.<\/p>\n<cite>Llewelyn Morgan, Head of Innovation, SYSTRA Ltd<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>TRIG has helped identify and nurture game-changing innovative ideas in the UK transport sector from initial concept through to the crucial stage of development. The scheme has also provided invaluable insights to the Department for Transport which have helped shape future policy and strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On his appointment to the TRIG Advisory Board, Llewelyn said: \u201cI am particularly looking forward to contributing to the Advisory Board over the next two years, offering expert advice and support to both the TRIG team and the emerging projects that will benefit from this vital funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
