{"id":14940,"date":"2024-08-08T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-08T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/ireland\/?p=14940"},"modified":"2024-08-28T13:55:35","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T12:55:35","slug":"systra-ltd-is-now-disability-confident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/ireland\/news\/systra-ltd-is-now-disability-confident\/","title":{"rendered":"SYSTRA Ltd is now Disability Confident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/disability-confident-guidance-for-levels-1-2-and-3\/level-2-disability-confident-employer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Disability Confident initiative<\/a>&nbsp;is a UK government scheme that focuses on creating a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and to take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Disability Confident employers are recognised as going the extra mile to make sure disabled people get a fair chance. To become Disability Confident (Level 2), SYSTRA have evidenced that they have met the&nbsp;necessary criteria&nbsp;set under the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2024\/08\/disability-confident-within-news-item-1024x645.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17132\" style=\"width:749px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The company is incredibly proud to have received Disability Confident status, which aligns well with the end of&nbsp;Disability Pride Month&nbsp;and SYSTRA&#8217;s continued efforts to improve inclusivity for all its colleagues, including those with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Lou Garrick, Disability ED&amp;I Lead, said &#8211; \u201cI am over the moon that we have achieved Disability Confident Level 2.
