As the appointed Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for Package <strong>EPDD-05<\/strong>, our team is responsible for the complete engineering and design of the Power Supply and Distribution, 750V DC Third Rail Traction, and SCADA systems. Coverage includes two major corridors\u2014the 32.15 km Orange Line and the 12.5 km Magadi Road corridor. Moreover, this project is pivotal in extending high-capacity, sustainable transit to the western regions of Bengaluru.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dusty-blue-color has-text-color\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-features-of-the-project\" style=\"text-transform:none\">Key features of the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"h-key-features-of-the-project\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Comprehensive Traction Design:<\/strong> Engineering a robust <strong>750V DC Third Rail<\/strong> system. It is consistent with Bangalore Metro\u2019s existing infrastructure to ensure seamless interoperability and high energy efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smart Grid Monitoring:<\/strong> Implementation of an advanced <strong>SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)<\/strong> system for real-time monitoring and control of the entire power network. Consequently, this ensures maximum operational uptime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optimized Power Distribution:<\/strong> Detailed design of Traction Substations (TSS) and Auxiliary Substations (ASS). These substations manage load distribution across 31 new stations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-Corridor Scope:<\/strong> Delivering integrated systems design for both <strong>Corridor 1<\/strong> (JP Nagar 4th Phase to Kempapura along the Outer Ring Road). Also, we deliver for <strong>Corridor 2<\/strong> (Hosahalli to Kadabagere).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Indigenous Excellence:<\/strong> Supporting the <em>Atmanirbhar Bharat<\/em> initiative by utilizing local engineering expertise.
