is under the ownership of Indian Railways, Ministry of&nbsp;Railways, Government of India&nbsp;with the responsibility to undertake planning, development, and mobilization of financial&nbsp;resources and construction, maintenance and operation of the &#8220;Dedicated Freight Corridors&#8221; (DFC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-features-of-the-project\" style=\"text-transform:none\">Key features of the project<br><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The project will ease congestion in the existing railway system, reduce travel time for passenger trains, and create additional&nbsp;rail transport and freight capacities.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The total stretch will comprise a 1,409km electrified double-track line between Dankuni in West Bengal and Khurja in UP,&nbsp;whereas as in our scope of work, where&nbsp;<strong>EDFC-1<\/strong>&nbsp;project comprises of 393 Km long double track between Khurja &amp; Kanpur&nbsp;which is fully commissioned by honorable Prime Minister- Mr. Narendra Modi,&nbsp;<strong>EDFC-2&nbsp;<\/strong>project comprises of approx. 417 Km&nbsp;length from&nbsp;<strong>Mughalsarai-New Bhaupur&nbsp;<\/strong>which is partially commissioned to 174 Km &amp;&nbsp;<strong>EDFC-3&nbsp;<\/strong>project comprises of 222Km&nbsp;length from Pilkhani&nbsp; \u2013 Khurja in state of Uttar Pradesh.\u200b<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These project mainly features Introduction of&nbsp;<strong>complete Mechanized laying of Railway Track by using New Track&nbsp;Construction (NTC) machine&nbsp; and 2x25KV Traction system&nbsp;<\/strong>are formalized for freight trains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
