It will serve the main business and residential centres of Maharashtra and Gujarat.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill-element has-pale-blue-background-color has-background\" style=\"grid-template-columns:30% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.systra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/hari-somalraju-9-002-905x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16021878 size-full\" style=\"object-position:56% 33%\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This contract reinforces SYSTRA&#8217;s status as a global leader in high-speed rail engineering. With references around the world and involvement in the design of one in two high-speed rail lines, we have all the expertise required to complete India&#8217;s first high-speed rail line between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Journey times will be reduced from 6 hours to 2 hours and 7 minutes, a reduction of almost three times. Our teams will work closely with the DRA Infracon-Siemens joint venture, which will supply the line&#8217;s system equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-over-4-000km-of-future-high-speed-lines-to-come\">Over 4,000km of future high-speed lines to come<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Mumbai\u2013Ahmedabad high-speed rail line, the Indian authorities aim to transform the travel experience between these two major cities. The PMC&#8217;s remit covers both the installation of signalling &amp; telecommunications systems, real-time ticketing and control equipment (SCADA). These systems are essential to ensuring the safety and reliability of this high-speed line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>SYSTRA India has been involved in studies for the new-generation ticketing system for this line since 2024.
