Engagement of General consultant for Maharashtra Metro Rail corporation Limited in state of Nagpur​

SYSTRA is the preferred General consultant for Maharashtra Metro Rail corporation Limited in state of Nagpur. The objective of the project is to provide a safe, reliable, efficient, affordable, commuter friendly and environmentally sustainable rapid public transport system for the Nagpur Metro Region.

Key features of the project

This project constitutes two corridor from N-S (Automotive SQRE- Khapri Corridor) Total Length is 19.65 km including 17 Stations which constitute Elevated section of 15.05 Km and an At Grade section of 4.6 Km and have 1 Depot & E-W corridor (Vaishno Devi Chowk- Lok-Manya Nagar Corridor).

The total length of the project is 18.56 km including 19 Stations which constitute complete Elevated section of 18.56 Km and have 1 Depot. This project constitute total length of approx. 38 km where approx. 25 Km of elevated stretch was inaugurated .Our client Maha Metro received an Asia book of records award for longest double decker viaduct of length 3.14 km by Minister of Road Transport & Highway Mr. Nitin Gadkari. This project comprises of CBTC signaling system along with 25 KV overhead Electric traction system.
