# PREPARATION OF DPR FOR RAIL BASED MASS TRANSIT WITH METRO NEO/METRO LITE SYSTEM FOR VADODARA, RAJKOT, BHAVNAGAR & JAMNAGAR

**Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRCL)  appointed us to prepare Detailed Project Report for MRTS for the purpose of meeting the requirements of GMRC in respect to development & construction of MRTS network out of which recommendation of a set of priority corridors and choice of mode for the MRTS.**

## Key features of the project

The scope of work includes meeting the assignment objectives in two parts:

Part 1: The Identification of corridors & the metrolite/metro rail network

- Assessment of city development and mobility scenario Improving efficiency of
  the system and proper operation and maintenance ​
- Identification of growth centers and corridors for rapid transit​
- Carryout initial traffic demand analysis​
- Establish a viable Metrolite/ Metro Neo Rail Network​
- Discuss and finalize the network proposals in consultation with the Municipal
  Corporation, Development Authority, GMRC and the Government of Gujarat​

Part 2: Detailed Project Report for Implementation of Metro-Neo/lite

- The Scope for the Detailed Project Report will broadly follow the guidelines
  of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India w.r.t. Civil
  works, System works and financial / cost planning
- For confirmed network establishing project report focusing feasibility and
  viability of Metro Neo/Lite project with pondering of: Technical, economic,
  Enviro social ,safety, economic & financial & phased implementation action
  plan
