**Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974 is formed by the Government of Maharashtra as an apex body for planning and co-ordination of development activities in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region comprising of Mumbai and its influence area. We are the General consultant for Mumbai Metro Line 5, Line 9  in state of Maharashtra.**

The main objective of the project is Development planning for the region,
Provision of regional infrastructure, Promotion of growth centres, Provision and
Development of Financial centers, Development coordination for the region.

## Key features of the project

- This project constitutes two lines from Line-5 (Thane – Bhiwandi -Kalyan)
  total length is 12 km including 06 Stations which constitute complete Elevated
  section and & Line-9 (Dahisar – Mira-Bhayandar & Andheri – CSIA) total length
  is 14.18 km including 10 Stations which constitute an Elevated section as well
  as underground section
- Line 5 & 9 are for System works and Line-7A is for Civil works
- The Top speed of the metro will be 80 Kmph includes, CBTC based  Signaling
  System
