**SYSTRA is engaged as General consultant for Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited in state of Pune. The objective if the project is to create an energy efficient Metro Rail System of International standard which will enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Pune and be instrumental in the overall development of the city by making it more vibrant & attractive and utilize the full potential of ‘Green Energy’ in the form of Solar**
**and** **Wind. **

## Key features of the project

- This project constitutes two corridor from N-S (PCMC to Swargate Corridor)
  total length is 17.53 km including 14 Stations which constitute Elevated
  section of 11.45 Km and an underground section of 6.07 Km and have 1 Depot &
  W-E (Vanaz- Ramwadi Corridor) total length is 15.75 km including 16 Stations
  which constitute complete Elevated section of 15.75 Km and have 1 Depot
- Span formation by launching Composite Steel Girder at Harris Bridge – Pune
  Metro​
- This project flagging off the first Make in India Aluminium body Metro coach
  designed & manufactured by Titagarh for Pune Metro
