You will develop lighting systems designs in AutoCAD and\/or Civil 3D such as layout, single line diagrams, wiring schematics, photometric layouts, grounding details, prepare and review wire sizing, voltage drop and conduit capacity calculations. You will also be responsible for coordinating utilities for electrical infrastructure and transportation-related design and construction projects along with preparing technical reports, tender items, and providing field support such as commissioning and site inspections.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing engineering drawings using computer-aided design software and supporting calculations and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Designing traffic signalization and street lighting systems for municipal or provincial projects.<\/li>\n<li>Reading&nbsp;and&nbsp;interpreting&nbsp;engineering&nbsp;drawings&nbsp;and&nbsp;specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Generating&nbsp;drawings&nbsp;in&nbsp;various&nbsp;formats&nbsp;for&nbsp;approval&nbsp;and&nbsp;use&nbsp;by&nbsp;project&nbsp;stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding&nbsp;electrical&nbsp;distribution&nbsp;systems&nbsp;to&nbsp;design&nbsp;and&nbsp;modify&nbsp;drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Performing&nbsp;project&nbsp;administration&nbsp;functions&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;drawing&nbsp;distribution&nbsp;and&nbsp;management,&nbsp;coordination,&nbsp;and&nbsp;communication&nbsp;with&nbsp;project&nbsp;stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining&nbsp;project&nbsp;information,&nbsp;drawings,&nbsp;files,&nbsp;spreadsheets,&nbsp;and&nbsp;records.<\/li>\n<li>Attending&nbsp;design&nbsp;and&nbsp;project&nbsp;coordination&nbsp;meetings&nbsp;as&nbsp;required.<\/li>\n<li>Summarizing&nbsp;parts&nbsp;and&nbsp;materials&nbsp;from&nbsp;available&nbsp;literature&nbsp;and&nbsp;databases.<\/li>\n<li>Performing&nbsp;subdivision&nbsp;inspections&nbsp;for&nbsp;assumption&nbsp;reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Performing&nbsp;contract&nbsp;administration&nbsp;functions&nbsp;including&nbsp;tender,&nbsp;award,&nbsp;quantity&nbsp;review,&nbsp;completion,&nbsp;and&nbsp;assumption&nbsp;work.<\/li>\n<li>Working&nbsp;occasional&nbsp;evenings&nbsp;or&nbsp;weekends&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Performing&nbsp;miscellaneous&nbsp;job-related&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>3 to 5 years experience focused on Illumination Design \/ Traffic Signal Design<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor degree on Electrical Engineering or College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Civil 3D or AutoCAD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Salary Range &#8211; CAD 60,000 &#8211; 70,000<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
