A CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STRATEGY WITHIN OUR GENERAL POLICY

Our core business, infrastructure and public transport system engineering, contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of towns, cities and countries worldwide, while offering greater mobility to residents and reducing pollution levels. Our work is therefore central to initiatives to transform towns, cities and territories and contributes to the building of a cleaner world that is more respectful of its habitants.

However, we believe that our responsibility goes beyond that. It applies to all of our actions. For this reason, we have identified 12 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments which bring together economic performance, excellence in our services, the professional fulfilment of our employees and local involvement. These commitments are part of our general policy, which is based on giving confidence to each player affected by our business.

A CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STRATEGY BASED ON CONSULTATION WITH EMPLOYEES

So that exercising our responsibility corresponds to who we are, to what we believe to be fair for our planet, it was important to consult the Group’s 5,000 employees to identify the SYSTRA fundamentals that would lead to these 12 commitments.

A CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STRATEGY AT THE HEART OF OUR MANAGEMENT

To ensure the efficient implementation of our 12 commitments, the mission of the Sustainable Management Department, reporting directly to SYSTRA’s CEO, is to manage the Integrated Management System in order to:

  • Define sustainable objectives that respond to our 12 commitments, taking into account both SYSTRA’s multicultural identity and the expectations of our stake holders;
  • Embody and provide a sense to our 12 commitments by:
    - setting out essential provisions to be applied on a daily basis in the implementation of our operational and support procedures,
    - sharing local initiatives and solutions, which contribute to the diversity of our Group;
  • Implement and coordinate internal measures that encourage the understanding, application and respect of our 12 commitments Group wide;
  • Steer the assessment of our sustainable development performance and the transformation measures required to reach our objects and respect our 12 commitments.
