Over 1,500 SYSTRA employees work at a dozen sites in Asia. Our activities cover all transit modes, from high speed railway to urban and road transport. Part of our design work is carried out at our regional technical centres, and we work for public as well as private clients.
SYSTRA has had a long-term presence in numerous countries of the Asia-Pacific region. In 1957, SYSTRA provided consultancy services for Indian railways. Our contributions to major transport projects in the region have consolidated our reputation and established partnerships with key local and international associates. Examples of these projects include high-speed railways in Korea, China and Taiwan , metros in India, Vietnam, the Philippines and China.
In addition to helping public authorities to develop their transit networks, SYSTRA works alongside private enterprises, such as concessionaires, equipment manufacturers and civil engineering contractors. We help private companies prepare their best bids, to answer calls to tender. SYSTRA’s holistic approach to transport systems guarantees clients the most effective solution, in terms of interfacing between civil and systems engineers, as well as overall integration.
After introducing the concept in Asia, SYSTRA has built some 150km of U-shaped viaduct in Korea, Taiwan, India, Vietnam and China, among others.
