SYSTRA convenes in Berlin for the InnoTrans Trade Fair
From 20 to 23 September, 60 of our experts will be present at the InnoTrans Trade Fair in Berlin to offer our expertise and present the full range of our transport systems.
SYSTRA’s services: a full range of competencies
A world leader in guided transport, SYSTRA is distinguished for its international experience in the development and design of high speed rail lines, whether in France (Southern Europe Atlantic line between Tours and Bordeaux, Nimes-Montpellier rail by-pass, Brittany-Loire valley line), in Asia (South Korea, Taiwan, China), in Sweden (Ostlänken), in Morocco (Tangiers-Kenitra line) and in India.
The Group also participates in 50% of automated metro projects worldwide, specializing in railway network modernisation and electrification. Present on all continents, SYSTRA works closely with its clients to make their transport projects a reality.
An international trade fair
SYSTRA will present the full range of its mobility solutions at the InnoTrans Trade Fair in Berlin. With guests from 146 countries and more than 60% of exhibitors arriving from outside of Germany, InnoTrans is a major international trade fair for transport technology.
The 2016 Berlin transport biennale will take inspiration from the dynamism of the city’s local market. Germany has announced that it would like to invest more than 250 billion euros in transport from now until 2030 for the modernisation of roads, railways, canals and public artwork.
A few examples of major renovations completed by SYSTRA:
- France: modernisation of the Niort-La Rochelle line
- Vietnam: modernisation of the Hanoi-Vinh line
- Indonesia: renovation of the Jakarta railway network
- Gabon: modernisation of the Trans-Gabon railway
Also belonging to the range of SYSTRA’s know-how, the ability to electrify networks of all ages:
- United Kingdom: modernisation of the Edinburgh-Glasgow line
- Bulgaria: electrification of the Plovdiv-Svilengrad railway network
An iconic project of these skills is the whole electrification of the railway network in Denmark, currently lead by the Group, to upgrade quality of service and offer quicker journey times to the Danish people. SYSTRA, along with joint venture parner COWI, uses BIM tools (Build information modeling) to design catenaries and electric networks’ installations.
