SYSTRA is hiring about 400 people in France in 2016

In order to support the company’s strong growth, SYSTRA has a continuous recruitment programme both in France and internationally. In France, there are about 250 people who have joined the Group since the beginning of this year. And, by December, there will be about 400 new employees coming to enhance the staffing of the world leader in public transport infrastructure.

Target: 7000 people in 2018

On Thursday 8 September, 42 newcomers participated to the “Welcome day”, organized at the Head office of the Group in Paris. It is the 3rd event of this type this year. Since 2012, staff has grew from more than 50%; by 2018, it will reach 7000 people, thanks to recruitments and acquisitions.

The main profiles sought are global project managers, especially for urban transport and metro projects, but also systems and infrastructure experts, and technical coordinators. SYSTRA is also recruiting key profiles to boost the support functions in the regions: Finance Director, Head of Human Resources, Cluster Manager, Head of Operations… The 400 recruits in France are supplemented by the recruits managed by the region and countries for their specific need.

Junior or experienced engineers, all are enthusiastic

Those who join us are for the most part engineers, both young and experienced engineers:

  • 30% with less than 5 years’ experience,
  • 30% from 5 to 10 years,
  • 20% from 10 to 15 years,
  • And 20% with more than 15 years.

In all cases, they have international profiles, speak English or Spanish according to needs, have experience outside their country and are prepared to work abroad. They all share the same desire to support the Group’s transformation and participate in SYSTRA’s exceptional growth. SYSTRA’s growth plan envisages a doubling of its revenue between 2012 and 2018, to reach 800 million euros.
