SYSTRA confirms growth with revenue up 18%
“Midway through the SYSTRA 2018 plan, our results confirm our ambitions: to double our revenue, Ebit and headcount within five years. Thanks to the dedication of the whole staff, SYSTRA is financially sound and has a well-filled order book. We have everything we need to keep on growing and to lead the design of infrastructure for guided transport.”
Pierre Verzat, Chairman of the Executive Board.
Despite a tense global economic environment, SYSTRA’s results continue to grow:
- The Group generated revenue of €623 million, up 18% compared to 2014;
- EBIT also grew by 18% to €25.5 million, although difficulties in certain economies made it fall slightly short of the target.
Alongside this healthy financial situation, the order book is strong, standing at almost €1 billion.
The Group’s international expansion gathers speed. 55% of revenue is generated outside France
France, the Middle East and Asia account for 76% of the Group’s revenue and are the main pillars of SYSTRA’s activity today.
At the end of 2015, SYSTRA has subsidiaries or branches in 61 countries and is running projects in 80 countries.
Over 600 new employees to accompany growth
The headcount grew by 13% in 2015. The Group now has a staff of 5,400, of whom 3,000 work outside France. Growth will continue in 2016, to reach the target of 7,000 employees by 2018.
