The 4 stations brought into service and the 6.5km extension between Cekmeköy and
Samandira mark the completion of the first part of Phase II of line 5, the route
of which is to be extended to the town of Sultanbeyli by 2025.

### A wide-ranging scope of expertise

SYSTRA is working as the System Engineering Company on Line 5 for Dogus, one of
the largest private-sector conglomerates in the country, on behalf of IBB\*.

_Line 5 is a fully automated metro line_

SYSTRA’s work for this project included:

- interfaces management
- systems integration management
- the management of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety
  (RAMS)
- quality and regulatory control
- testing and commissioning
- electromagnetic interference / compatibility (EMI/EMC)
- operation and maintenance

The efficient completion of these assignments was made possible by the
collaboration of several SYSTRA entities.
