Present in Vietnam for more than twenty years, SYSTRA has already contributed to
several key projects for the country’s urban networks. In Hanoi, the Group has
been supporting the development of
**[the capital’s metro](https://www.systra.com/en/projects/the-hanoi-metro-vietnam/)**
since 2007. Line 3, whose first elevated section opened in 2024, is continuing
its rollout with an underground section between Cau Giay and Hanoi Station. In
Ho Chi Minh City, SYSTRA also took part in the design of the elevated sections
and associated stations of Metro Line 1,

.

This long-standing experience now comes at a time of strong acceleration in the
Vietnamese market. The country is pursuing ambitious growth objectives and is
investing heavily in its infrastructure to support its economic, urban and
industrial development. Metro, regional rail and high-speed rail projects are
expected to play a central role in this transformation by strengthening
connections between major metropolitan areas, industrial hubs, port zones and
tourist regions.

Created in January 2026, SYSTRA Vietnam has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City,
in the Thảo Điền district, as well as a project presence in Hanoi.

SYSTRA is notably involved in several high-speed rail projects in the country,
alongside public and private stakeholders such as VinGroup, Masterise and
Becamex. This momentum illustrates the rapid evolution of the Vietnamese market,
characterized by ambitious timelines, high technical requirements and the need
to structure mobility solutions suited to the growth of major urban regions.
