### Two prizes at the Railway Technology Excellence Awards

At the Railway Technology Excellence Awards SYSTRA won the Innovation award for
its groundbreaking low-carbon ballastless track design, Slab Track, developed in
partnership with Stradal, France’s leading precast concrete company. Slab Track
offers unparalleled environmental benefits and operational efficiency,
revolutionising traditional railway infrastructure.

At the same event, SYSTRA also secured the M&A award for its strategic
acquisition of Rail Systems Australia, which has significantly enhanced its
service range and reinforced its market presence in the rapidly growing
Australasian transport sector.

SYSTRA is the only company to have obtained two prizes at  this

### In Italy, tunnel expertise shines through its innovations

Last November in Genova, the renovation project of the Manfreida Tunnel, a road
tunnel, part of the Genoa-Gravellona Toce motorway, presented by Tecne – Gruppo
Autostrade per l’Italia, for which SYSTRA Italy provided technical support, was
awarded as best project of the year in the category ‘Renovation Project of the
Year’ at the 10th edition of the ITA Tunnelling and Underground Space Awards.

and technical excellence.

### Two awards in the UK for the HS2 project

In early November, SYSTRA’s engineering capabilities were acknowledged with two
awards for the HS2 (High Speed 2) project in the UK at the Institution of
Structural Engineers Annual Dinner and Structural Awards Ceremony in Birmingham.

In the ‘Profession’ category, SYSTRA was awarded for the integrated structural
design delivery of the A452 Kenilworth Road Overbridge (Balsall Common,
Solihull), which showcased how the design and construction teams worked together
to deliver the longest and highest box structure on the entire HS2 project. The
team, working across eight countries and four continents, successfully delivered
a unique and innovative design for the highly complex overbridge.

In the ‘Process’ category we were awarded for the first huge Delta Junction
viaduct section over the M42/M6 link road in North Warwickshire. The Delta
Junction is a particularly complex area of the HS2 network comprising multiple
diverging and converging high-speed rail routes set out against a dense tissue
of existing suburban infrastructure. This winning entry showcased an impressive
technical achievement, innovation and the application of new and improved
technologies and processes in design and construction.

### In Hong Kong our traffic flow expertise is recognised
