Dedicated to freight traffic, The C-E30 line is a branch of the E-30 Third
Pan-European railway corridor linking Poland, Germany and the Ukraine, on which
SYSTRA worked more than a decade ago and from 2015-2017.

The scope of the contract consists of design documentation, including the
programme and spatial concept, construction design with the necessary
administrative arrangements and decisions, and tender materials. Completion is
scheduled for the middle of 2023.

Moreover, we are working on the modernisation of Gliwice Łabędy statio which is
crossed by three railway lines which include sections along E30.

> We are delighted to have been awarded another challenging assignment on the
> country’s railway network and to be working with our long-standing local
> partner BPK MOSTY.
> Aleksandra Chachulska-Krysmann, SYSTRA Poland project manager

Thanks to this project, SYSTRA will become part of a significant investment
programme, which is the Railway Component of the Central Communication Port and
we will once again contribute to the development of railways in the regions of
Lower Silesia and Opole.

### Railway modernisation: a range of significant benefits

Improvements to Poland’s railway network are set to benefit both commuters and
visitors. Transport access is being upgraded and enhanced and safer connections
to neighbouring countries are being created, having a positive impact on the
economy.

Furthermore, this modernisation initiative presents environmental benefits
thanks to a modal shift from road to rail that is expected to take place.
