SYSTRA, a global engineering and consulting group specialising in mobility and
transport infrastructure, and Dassault Systèmes, a leader in Industrial AI
through the 3D UNIV+RSES, are joining forces around virtual twins to accelerate
innovation in rail and infrastructure.

In response to the wide range of challenges and the growing complexity of
transport projects, virtual twins are opening up new capabilities to design,
simulate, test, optimise, and manage infrastructure throughout its lifecycle.
Beyond the digital representation of an asset or decision support, Dassault
Systèmes’ 3D UNIV+RSES make it possible to connect virtual twins to one another
and to their environment by combining real-world data, models, and AI to
experiment, learn, and innovate before taking action in the real world.

The initiative launched by SYSTRA and Dassault Systèmes is intended to support
the rail sector in moving from analyses that are still often fragmented today
toward more integrated environments capable of bringing together the data,
models, and expertise of the various stakeholders. This approach aims to improve
understanding of the issues at stake and strengthen cooperation among
stakeholders. From the earliest project phases, it enables teams to explore and
assess different options, anticipate their impacts, and make stronger,
better-informed, and more collaborative decisions.
